The ninth-ranked University of Oklahoma softball team downed second-ranked Arizona 11-1 in five innings on Saturday at the Kajikawa Classic. Keilani Ricketts allowed just one earned run on two hits and struck out 10 as the Sooners (4-1) pounded out 10 hits in the win. Ricketts aided her pitching by driving in four OU runs, including a three-run home run in the top half of the fifth. She ended the game 2-for-2 and drew one walk.

I hope the players aren't getting the feeling of entitlement for the coming season.That's what caused the texass downfall this last season. FSU, texass, & aTm will be out for blood next fall.

The University of Oklahoma softball team opened the 2011 season Thursday evening with an 11-2 win over Cal State Bakersfield at the Kajikawa Classic. Oklahoma scored six runs in the second and five in the third to move to 14-3 in season openers under head coach Patty Gasso.

OU still has yet to announce the hire but it looks as though it's all but official as of right now. Berezowitz will fill Bruce Kittle's old shoes.

For the second time in less that two weeks, the University of Oklahoma has announced that admission will be free to a men's basketball game. All fans who show up get a free t-shirt in an attempt to "white out" the arena. There will also be Bradford autographed merchandise handed out throughout the game as Sammy will be in attendance.

Well if you're one of those people out there who thinks that preseason CFB polls are worthless, I can't even imagine what you'll think of this 2012 NFL mock draft. Yes, we haven't even had the 2011 NFL draft and yet here is a mock for 2012. Not sure I see Landry leaving after what would be his junior year, but aside from that I don't really have a problem with where this guy slotted him. Now even as good as he's been at times, I personally don't think Landry is a #9 overall kind of player but we all know I'm no expert. I think he'd have to have a lot of talent around him to be successful on that level and San Fran is not that team now and probably won't be then either. Well it's the offseason, so I guess we should just be glad we can still find stuff like this (even as ridiculous as it is) to talk about.
