See why I think Anton could be a higher pick then most

You wouldn’t be wrong to be excited about T.J. Hockenson‘s nine-catch, 70-yard debut on the road against the Washington Commanders. With just four full days of preparation, Hockenson made an immediate impact on an offense that needed a shot in the arm. Examine below, his route running, blocking, and general athleticism came in handy for a Vikings offense that had little else going for it (save Justin Jefferson, of course). That’s all very encouraging, and it should absolutely be your main takeaway from Hockenson’s debut. This is not an article about all the things Hockenson did well, but that doesn’t mean that those things aren’t important. You probably already know about them. But Hockenson made a litany of mistakes in the Commanders game that held the offense back. I’ve identified six of them, and this article will explain what Hockenson’s assignments were and why he may have gotten mixed up.
The Oklahoma Sooners come back home this week to take on the Kansas State Wildcats. Does anyone have a fear of this team? In spite of last week’s result, I think you should. Kansas State presents an interesting problem that I will line out in the game preview later for you. From a little bit more of 30,000-foot view, the Sooners are playing their first conference game of the season with a late home kickoff. Does it get any sweeter than that? Now, tomorrow will be hot — mid-90’s most the day, but hopefully the late kick helps make it easier to handle during the game. The Sooners are going to need a packed house, and they’ll have just that. I think all this (gestures to the paragraph above) presents a perfect storm for a coming-out party. Seriously, an opponent that garners respect, a prime time game, a packed house.... and a game the Sooners could potentially win big. It’s all there. Now, I am not the chef here, obviously, just the guy reading the list of ingredients. It will be interesting to see if the Sooners can seize the opportunity.
The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department will expand its relationship with longtime multimedia rightsholder LEARFIELD for the next 10 years as announced by OU Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione on Friday. The new agreement begins July 1, 2022, and is markedly transformative for the Sooners. Considered historic by both parties in many respects, it will encompass the traditional comprehensive elements LEARFIELD has managed on behalf of OU Athletics since 1994, as well as an assortment of innovative and robust touchpoints for Sooners fans, including significant digital content, in-venue investments and customized original content via the LEARFIELD Studios team. OU also is collaborating with LEARFIELD in providing additional NIL leadership focus and support, which includes a dedicated team member. Watch NFL live online with CyberGhost VPN. Oklahoma is rolling into Super Regional weekend for the 12th straight NCAA Tournament. Patty Gasso’s top-seeded Sooners dominated the Norman Regional. OU (52-2) outscored its opponents 37-2, bouncing back from a narrow 3-2 win over Texas A&M with a 20-0 romp of the Aggies on Sunday afternoon.
Auburn coach Bryan Harsin has some good jokes, at least at the expense of the Oklahoma Sooners. Before taking the Tigers job in 2021, Harsin was the head coach at Boise State from 2014-20 and coached as an assistant with the school from 2002-10. Back in 2006-07, Boise State defeated Oklahoma 43-42 in the Fiesta Bowl, which is considered one of the best games in college football history. Harsin was a member of that Boise State staff as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. So Harsin decided to have some fun on Twitter. Sometimes, tweets are put up for engagement purposes to spark a conversation for endless debate. In this instance, Pro Football Focus put up an image of an Oklahoma helmet asking the question of "Who’s the first player that comes to mind while looking at this image?" Harsin fired off a good tweet. A lot has been made of the Big 12’s lack of first-round selections in the 2021 and 2022 NFL drafts. While it was the second-straight draft without a first round pick from the Big 12, don’t expect that run to go to three straight drafts. The Oklahoma Sooners have a pair of players who’ve already seen some buzz in way-too-early 2023 mock drafts. Wide receiver Marvin Mims and offensive tackle Anton Harrison. Oklahoma State came to play in the third game the Bedlam series on Saturday afternoon — until Jocelyn Alo stepped into the batter’s box. Cowgirl pitcher Kelly Maxwell had kept the No. 1-ranked Sooners on their toes all afternoon, but her hard work came undone in the bottom of the fifth inning. Maxwell hit both Jana Johns and Taylon Snow, and then issued a walk to Jayda Coleman to load the bases for college softball’s Home Run Queen. On the third pitch she saw, Alo rocketed a ball to the front row in right-center field, giving OU a 5-2 lead from which it would never look back.
Thomas is reviewed by an NFL analyst. He could be the best of the three after a year or two.
