The Oklahoma Sooners put a great defense out on the field last Saturday. Offensively, OU missed plenty of opportunities, but there’s plenty of room for a bounce-back. Will the Sooners carry some momentum into the Red River Rivalry/Shootout/Showdown/whatever? Will this team avoid a letdown against an Iowa State program that has given them some trouble in recent years? Will Oklahoma improve its all-time record against the Cyclones to 80-7-2? USC (-22) at Colorado — Travis Hunter and Shilo Sanders being out will make this even less competitive. Fear not — USC’s defense will still look bad.
Kentucky (-1) vs. Florida — Mark Stoops deserves a statue in Lexington.
Arkansas (+6.5) vs. Texas A&M (Arlington) — I like KJ Jefferson’s chances of out-gunning Max Johnson.
Texas (-16) vs. Kansas — KU keeps it close for a half, but Texas’ advantage up front will wear the Jayhawks down and allow them to cover.
