It’s FOOTBALL TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME IN CINCINNATI. I would usually use this opportunity to talk some smack on the opponent, but I genuinely am a fan of Cincinnati chili. Is it fit for a chili competition? No. Is it a meal on its own? No. Is it perfect for a chili dog? Absolutely. So let’s move on.
This is the Oklahoma Sooners’ first and only conference matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats, and it’s the program’s only trip to Nippert Stadium (the 2010 matchup was at Paul Brown Stadium). With this in mind, their fan base will be fired up for this one, so a strong start will be crucial. Will the Sooners rise to the occasion?
*Toby Rowland voice* We’re about to find out.
Today, Oklahoma’s final lap around the old neighborhood begins with the new kids on the block.
