Following four consecutive contests against top-15 teams, there would be no letdown performance for the Oklahoma Sooners, who have defeated TCU to improve to 7-4 on the season and 3-3 in Big 12 play.
It was all crimson and cream tonight as the #Sooners get the convincing win over the Horned Frogs. pic.twitter.com/vZ3hq69Wou

Even without Brady Manek or Jalen Hill at the Sooners’ disposal, this game just never felt like it would escape OU’s grasp after the opening minutes. Part of this can be attributed to yet another strong defensive effort from this experienced team, as the Sooners held TCU to 34.6 percent from the field and 4-19 from deep while turning the Frogs over 16 times. The fact that OU was able to capitalize on said turnovers with 25 points certainly didn’t hurt, either.
Keeping that effort at . #Sooners start the second half with a 9️⃣-2️⃣ run to stretch their lead to 19.

The Sooners were led by sophomore De’Vion Harmon, who paced the team with 19 points (3/6 from deep), six rebounds, four assists and zero turnovers. The former four-star recruit has really come into his own in his second season in Norman — something this team sorely needed in 2020-21.
While the performance didn’t quite match the his last two against the Horned Frogs (that bar is awfully high), Austin Reaves did put forth a solid effort, scoring 14 points on 5/10 shooting and dishing out six assists.
