The Oklahoma Sooners have been grabbing headlines with the recruiting efforts they’ve made with the 2021 wide receiver class, but OU is now on the board at the position for the 2022 cycle after receiving a commitment from Garland (Texas) WR Jordan Hudson.
1000% Commited

Hudson, a four-star prospect and the No. 102 overall player in his class per the 247Composite Rankings, has also received offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M and USC up to this point. With two years remaining in high school, optimism over this commitment should remain measured, and that’s doubly true of any commitment that occurs during the COVID-19 pandemic (which has prevented on-campus visits). Nevertheless, this is further proof that Dennis Simmons never stops grinding, and if this commitment indeed holds, OU is getting quite a talent in the 6’1”, 180-pound receiver.
Hudson is the second commitment of Oklahoma’s 2022 class, joining four-star outside linebacker Kobie McKinzie.
