Following Wednesday’s announcement of restricted access to the men’s and women’s basketball championships, the Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby has announced a cancellation of the remainder of the tournaments altogether. This comes amid concerns regarding the coronavirus, which prompted the NBA to announce an indefinite postponement play Wednesday evening. As of this moment, there is still no official word on whether or not the NCAA Tournament will be played in 2020.

The No. 3-seeded Oklahoma Sooners men’s basketball team was scheduled to play the sixth-seeded West Virginia Mountaineers at approximately 8 p.m., while the women’s team was set to play Oklahoma State at 6 p.m.
We could speculate as to where the men’s team stands as far as NCAA Tournament seeding is concerned, but it might not be necessary at this point. We’ll just have to wait and see.
