About Iowa State
- The Cyclones will be without potential lottery pick Tyrese Haliburton, who is averaging 15.2 PPG, 6.5 SPG and 5.9 RPG. Haliburton suffered a wrist fracture in ISU’s recent win over Kansas State and is out for the season.

- In the first matchup, ISU shot 47.8 percent from the floor and hit 12 three pointers en route to an 81-68 win in Ames. The Cyclones are No. 258 nationally in rebounding, but they were able to out-rebound the by 10 (35-25) in this particular matchup.

- Bracketology: Following the 69-59 win over West Virginia (currently No. 9 in NET), the Sooners are listed as a No. 8 seed in Jerry Palm’s updated bracketology. Additionally, the Sooners are up to a No. 9 seed according to Joe Lunardi, who previously has OU as a No. 11 seed and playing in the First Four. In the current NCAA NET Rankings (used by the committee to seed the field), OU sits at No. 49. At this point, it’s about holding serve and winning the games in which you are favored, and tonight’s matchup falls under that category.
- Brady Manek: Even with a mediocre shooting performance against West Virginia (4/14 from the field for 11 points), Brady Manek has been on quite a statistical tear since getting hot against TCU on Jan. 18.

- Doolittle back on track: After failing to reach double digits scoring in his five previous games, Kristian Doolittle scored 27 points on 9/15 shooting (2/3 from 3) to go along with 12 rebounds. Doolittle joins Blake Griffin as the only OU players to total 27 points and 12 rebounds in a Big 12 game.
