Following a 48-14 win at UCLA, the Oklahoma Sooners come in at No. 5 in this week’s FanPulse Top 25. Sixty-six of the NCAA team brands fan bases voted to create this week’s Top 25, and here’s what the data tells us:

Here’s how Oklahoma fans voted after this past weekend:
- Clemson
- Alabama
- Oklahoma
- Georgia
- LSU
- Ohio State
- Notre Dame
- Auburn
- Utah
- Florida
- Michigan
- Texas
- Wisconsin
- Penn State
- UCF
- Oregon
- Texas A&M
- Washington State
- Iowa
- Boise State
- Michigan State
- Washington
- Virginia
- Maryland
- Army
Here are the notable variations between the OU poll and the national poll:
- Nationally, Oklahoma dropped from No. 4 to No. 5 this week, with LSU passing the Sooners following their win over Northwestern State. Why or how LSU made the jump this week as opposed to last week is a mystery. Very, very odd, indeed.
- Mike Leach’s Washington State Cougars are one spot higher in the OU poll, which is proof of our love for the former Sooners OC.
- Once again, OU fans included Army in their top 25, this time at the expense of Herman Edwards’ Arizona State Sun Devils.
- This isn’t a variation, but for the first time in the history of the poll (small sample size, I know), OU fans’ ranking of Texas aligns with that of the national poll.
