NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Oklahoma Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The college football season is only 10 days away, so it’s time to release the brand new SB Nation NCAA FanPulse preseason poll, voted on by you, the fans! Sixty-six of the NCAA team brands voted to create the inaugural FanPulse Top 25, and here’s what the data tells us heading into the 2019 season:

However, here’s how Oklahoma Sooners fans voted:

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Georgia
  5. Ohio State
  6. Michigan
  7. Notre Dame
  8. Florida
  9. LSU
  10. Oregon
  11. Texas A&M
  12. Texas
  13. Washington
  14. Penn State
  15. UCF
  16. Utah
  17. Wisconsin
  18. Auburn
  19. Iowa
  20. Iowa State
  21. Northwestern
  22. Miami
  23. Michigan State
  24. Nebraska
  25. Army

Oklahoma fans did a pretty decent job with this! They’re high on the Sooners, yet rational enough to keep them behind Clemson and Alabama. At the same time, they took Texas down a peg without completely casting them asunder. Finally, they included Army at No. 25, showing some respect for the program that gave them a bit too much of a scare this past fall.

However, as is the case with the overall poll (and every poll), Michigan is probably too high.
