From the report:
“Multiple people familiar with the investigation told The Athletic that a female OU student alleged in a Title IX complaint earlier this summer that Brooks was physically violent toward her. Brooks, a Dallas-area native, remained in Norman while the investigation played out and worked out at a local high school.”
Brooks, who was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team earlier today, was reportedly suspended during the process of the investigation. In 2018, Brooks was Oklahoma’s leading rusher, translating 119 carries into 1,056 yards and 12 touchdowns. His 8.87-yard average ranked fourth nationally.
