This news marks the fourth loss suffered by the Sooners’ D-line since the offseason began. In February, redshirt freshman DE Ron Tatum declared his intention to transfer. Then 2019 DT signee Derek Green had a last minute change of heart and is now expected to play for the Vanderbilt Commodores. Finally, redshirt freshman Jordan Kelley suffered a lower body injury and underwent surgery, sidelining him indefinitely.
OU will need to hope for a little love from Lady Luck when it comes to staying healthy up front in 2019, because the room is a bit emptier now than it was two months ago.
