The Oklahoma Sooners hosted quite a bit of talent this weekend and have now received a commitment from one of the visitors. Carrollton, Texas ATH Michael Henderson has chosen OU over Texas and Texas A&M while also fielding offers from the likes of Alabama and Georgia.
Time to turn up young one. Congrats. There is no better school in the nation https://t.co/Knb7awXrwL

Henderson is rated as a three-star prospect, but his offer list and recent recruiting momentum are a pretty good indicator of how much of an impact certain big-time programs think he can make at the next level. Oklahoma was the first school to offer back in March of 2018, and the persistence over the past year months has paid off.
So which position will he play at the collegiate level? Well, he’s a high school QB with the body to play linebacker (in the range of 6’2/6’3”, 225/230), but if he ultimately signs with Oklahoma, the answer would appear to be H-back. The fit is pretty much perfect.
Oklahoma now has eight commitments in its 2020 class, which currently sits at No. 5 nationally in the 247Composite Team Rankings.
