The planets aligned down the stretch for the Oklahoma Sooners, and after 15 weeks into the 2019 season, OU is 12-1, Big 12 Champs, and is officially headed back to the College Football Playoff as the No. 4 seed. It’s Oklahoma’s fourth CFP berth in five years.

Oklahoma is 1-1 versus LSU all-time. The Sooners won their first meeting against the Tigers, 35-0 in the 1950 Sugar Bowl. The more recent meeting came in the final game of the 2003 season, when a Nick Saban-led LSU squad defeated OU, 21-14 for a BCS National Championship.
