Brynden Walker spent the middle portion of 2019 at the center of a Bedlam recruiting battle, but he ends the year as an official member of the Oklahoma Sooners’ 2020 class.

Pretty much all of Walker’s recruiting attention came after the conclusion of his junior season, and Oklahoma State ended up securing a commitment from him in March of 2019 while seemingly beating out Texas, Texas Tech, Kansas State and about 10 others. However, an April offer from Oklahoma changed everything, and a flip seemed inevitable until the moment it finally occurred on June 30.
Walker, a 6’3”, 230-pound outside linebacker out of Oklahoma City’s Bishop McGuinness High School, is Oklahoma’s lone RUSH LB of its 2020 class but could also potentially find a home on the inside if need be. Regardless, Oklahoma is getting a big, physical pass rusher who can be considered a bit of a steal.
