Noah Nelson is just another notch in the belt of Bill Bedenbaugh’s monstrous class of behemoths he is hauling into Norman, Oklahoma. Nelson signed his LOI and has signed with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Nelson stands at a massive 6’8, 295 lbs. with another gap of nearly thirty pounds to fill as an offensive tackle. He’s typical for an Oklahoma tackle — long, athletic, rangy, HUGE. Nelson’s athleticism doesn’t jump off the page at you, which might suggest he will play right tackle in Bedenbaugh’s system. His quick feet at the point of attack will be very well served for pulling on the counters that Lincoln Riley loves to run.
Nelson is a gem and is extremely underrated as the No. 497 player in the country according to 247Sports. He will have to sit behind many experienced and highly touted depth on Bedenbaugh’s offensive line, but Nelson’s range at 6’8 CANNOT be ignored. He has far too much reach to not see the field at some point in his career.
