Oklahoma Sooners Football falls to No. 8 in SB Nation FanPulse poll

Following the narrow win over Iowa State, Oklahoma dropped a spot in the eyes of college football fans.

Following a close encounter with the Iowa St. Cyclones, the Oklahoma Sooners have fallen one spot to No. 8 in this week’s SB Nation FanPulse poll. Sixty-six of the NCAA team brands fan bases voted to create this week’s Top 25, and here’s what the data tells us:

  • In this week’s confidence survey, only 69 percent of surveyed Oklahoma fans stated that they were confident in the direction of the program, which isn’t so nice. The previous low was 83.3 following the Kansas State loss.
  • In this week’s FanPulse Heisman poll, Joe Burrow predictably leads the way at 82.2 percent. Jalen Hurts is still second but now only carries 7.1 percent of the votes.
