Following a big win over the Texas Longhorns, the Oklahoma Sooners have moved up to No. 5 in this week’s SB Nation FanPulse poll. Sixty-six of the NCAA team brands fan bases voted to create this week’s Top 25, and here’s what the data tells us:

I few things from this week’s survey:
- OU fans did quite a bit of shuffling after this weekend’s games, moving the Sooners from No. 4 to No. 3, LSU from No. 6 to No. 2, Clemson from No. 3 to No. 5 and Ohio State from No. 2 to No. 4.
- After weeks of having Texas either even or ahead of the national ranking, OU fans have Texas one spot behind at No. 15 this week. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State is included in OU fans’ top 25 at No. 25.
- This week, FanPulse included an early Heisman ballot, and here are the national results:
- Joe Burrow (LSU) - 35.2%
- Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma) - 24.4%
- Jonathan Taylor (Wisconsin) - 21.3%
- Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) - 10.9%
- Justin Fields (Ohio State) - 6.2%
- Trevor Lawrence (Clemson) - 2%
- 100 percent of surveyed OU fans are confident in the direction of the football program. After coming in at 96.4 last week, Texas fans went down to 82.8 following the loss to the Sooners.
