AND WE’RE COMINNNNN’........ TO YOUR CITAAAAAYYYYYYYYY
IF YOU WANT A LITTLE...
Alright, that’s enough of that. As you might have expected, ESPN’s College GameDay will be on site at the State Fair of Texas for this year’s edition of the Red River Shootout (Rivalry, Showdown, whatever) between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns. This will mark the 35th occasion in which the show will be present for an OU game, with the Sooners going 23-11 in previous situations.
You ready, Dallas?

FOX, which will be carrying Saturday’s 11 a.m. game, also announced the presence of its own on-site pregame coverage back on Sept. 21. The FS1 show will begin at 9 a.m. CT and will feature both Bob Stoops and Vince Young.
There’s plenty of room (and pedestrian traffic) at the State Fair for two productions, but this certainly creates an interesting dynamic. I’m sure FOX isn’t terribly thrilled with today’s announcement from ESPN. Then again, I’m not sure how many people would have posted up near FOX’s production anyway, as they would probably be relying on passers-by regardless of ESPN’s presence. Having said that, it’ll be interesting to see where where ESPN sets up its operation in relation to FOX, which will be broadcasting from Lone Star Boulevard between the Texas Hall of State and the Esplanade.
