Lee Morris is no stranger to making plays for the Oklahoma Sooners. He scored a go-ahead touchdown in one of OU’s biggest victories — the 2017 win in Columbus. The redshirt junior WR (or TE, depending on how you look at it) made his presence known once again on Saturday, blocking a punt and later scored a TD on a catch-and-run. Morris, who came to Oklahoma as a preferred walk-on in 2015, was clearly deserving of a scholarship, and it finally seemed inevitable after OU’s season-opening victory over Florida Atlantic. Let’s let Lincoln Riley take it from here:

Morris, who was a high school teammate of Kyler Murray and Bobby Evans at Allen (Texas) High School, has three catches and three touchdowns in his collegiate career up to this point. Yep, you read that correctly. Morris has scored a TD every time he has touched the football on offense. Hell, OU has scored a TD every time he has touched the football in general, as his punt block resulted in a TD on Saturday. This guy is pure magic, y’all.
The only issue? It appears that many of his teammates expected free dinner at Morris’ expense. Why’d you have to do him like that, Coach?
