The Big 12 has announced the TV schedule for the league’s Sept. 29 games, and the Oklahoma Sooners are set to face the Baylor Bears at 2:30 p.m. on ABC.

After two early games and a PPV broadcast to open the home slate, this announcement probably isn’t going to upset anyone. The tailgaters have time to do their thing, the early-to-bed fans aren’t going to be stuck in game-day traffic at late hours, and the cord-cutters scattered across the country will be able to catch it on one of the major networks (and without having to pay $50). Now we just have to hope for a similar time slot situation for OU’s matchup with Texas on Oct. 6. We had a 2:30 kickoff at the State Fair of Texas in 2017, but perhaps we’ll get lucky again.
