Two days after falling to Washington by a score of 2-0, the Oklahoma Sooners topped Arizona State by the same score to stay alive in the Women’s College World Series. The Sooners will face the Florida Gators in a elimination game at 6 p.m. CT this evening.

Paige Parker allowed only two hits and struck out seven batters en route to her ninth career WCWS win. On the offensive end, freshman Jocelyn Alo hit the 29th home run of the season. The third-inning solo shot leaves her only one shy of tying the NCAA freshman record.

Lea Wodach added to the lead in the top of the sixth with a single through the right side, bringing Caleigh Clifton home from second following a steal. Oklahoma managed six hits against ASU, with two coming from Shay Knighten. In addition to Alo, Wodach and Knighten, Nicole Pendley and Nicole Mendes contributed base hits for the Sooners
OU will face No. 2 overall seed Florida, who fell 6-5 to UCLA on Friday.
