Oklahoma has earned an NCAA Tournament bid despite losing eight of its last 10 games.

The Oklahoma Sooners were ranked No. 4 in the country back in January but — to put it lightly — have stumbled to the finish line. OU fans went from thoroughly enjoying the Trae Young Show to being seemingly indifferent about the prospect of making the field. In the end, despite winning only two games since the beginning of February, the Sooners have been invited to the Big Dance. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, was left out of the field.

Oklahoma was projected to make the field, so this isn’t terribly surprising. What is a bit surprising is the fact that they won’t be playing in Dayton as part of the First Four. Instead, the Sooners are a 10 seed and will play Rhode Island in Pittsburgh on Thursday. If they find a way to win that one, they’ll most assuredly face the Duke Blue Devils in the Round of 32.
