FOX will televise OU-Kansas, and we’re getting a night game!

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Oklahoma Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

A 6:30 p.m. kickoff has been announced for the game between the Oklahoma Sooners and Kansas Jayhawks, which will be televised by FOX. This, of course, will be Memorial Stadium’s second evening kickoff of the season. Needless to say, Campus Corner’s merchants are rejoicing, and so am I.

As always, be sure to tailgate like a champion and support Norman businesses, but you should also be in your seat for the Senior Day festivities. Guys like Ben Powers, Dru Samia, Curtis Bolton, Myles Tease, Carson Meier and Austin Seibert will be playing on Owen Field for the final time, and it could be the final home game for some of the draft-eligible players on this roster. Also, make sure to savor the brilliance that is Kyler Murray.

This is a good thing for the fans, the seniors and the program’s weekend recruiting efforts. I’ll take it.
