The Oklahoma Sooners fell to No. 11 in the latest editions of the AP and Coaches Polls following Saturday’s 48-45 loss to the Texas Longhorns. This drop was expected as the Sooners’ porous defense finally caught up with them after several close calls. It’s worth noting that OU is the fourth highest-ranked one-loss team behind Washington, Penn State, and Texas.

Texas leapfrogged OU in the AP poll, shooting all the way up to No. 9. West Virginia is now the Big 12’s highest ranked team at No. 6, and Oklahoma State fell out of the rankings following a home loss to Iowa State.

If you’re looking for a silver lining in this week’s rankings, the Big 12 now has three teams ranked in the top 11. That’s the most of any conference in the country. How are the other seven teams in the conference doing? Eh, we don’t need to talk about that.

Here are both polls in their entirety. Big 12 teams in bold.
