2018 WR Treveon Johnson, who had been committed to the Oklahoma Sooners since June, has announced that he no longer plans to attend OU.

The Brenham (TX) native is listed as a three-star prospect and is the No. 84 wide receiver in the 247Composite Rankings. The Sooners already have signatures from Jaquayln Crawford, Kundarrius Taylor and Jaylon Robinson and aren’t exactly hurting at wide receiver, so this now frees up a scholarship that can be put to use elsewhere.
Johnson officially visited Arkansas last weekend and is scheduled to visit Tennessee next weekend, so he certainly has some decent options. We certainly wish him all the best, and hopefully he can find a landing spot that allows him to thrive as a player.
