Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma Sooners landed another big-name recruit Tuesday as 2019 four-star recruit Trejan Bridges from Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX announced on Twitter that he plans on taking his talents to Norman. He is the No. 28 wide receiver in the class of 2019 and the No. 159 player overall (247Composite). As a sophomore at Hebron, Bridges hauled in 50 catches for 766 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Bridges measures 6’1”, 174 pounds, and his tremendous strength and leaping ability allow him to beat defenders in jump-ball situations. He exploits defenders with his combination of speed and quickness. If defensive backs play off of him, he can burn them on a curl or a crossing route. If defenders try to press up on him, he has the ability to blow by them.
The Texas wideout is OU’s fourth commitment to an already stacked 2019 recruiting class. The Sooners are ranked ninth in the 2019 247Composite rankings before Bridges committed, and that ranking is sure to climb once he is factored in. Bridges also has offers from Oregon, Tennessee, Baylor, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Arkansas, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Marshall, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Tulsa, Texas Tech, Utah and Washington State.
