Oklahoma will stripe Memorial Stadium when the Iowa State Cyclones come to town on October 7. Below is a map of what color each section should wear. Be sure to check the map below so you don’t feel silly when you show up to section 5 all decked out in Crimson. That’d be embarrassing, and we here at C&C don’t want you to embarrass yourself.

The announcement was not much of a surprise considering this tweet from Diamond Dogs that went up two and a half hours before the official announcement was made.

I love the striping, but wouldn’t you love to see a white-out at some point? It would be a great way to mix it up and get the fans excited, and it would look fantasic during a night game (kind of like what you see at Penn State).
Oct. 7 is the Sooners’ Big 12 home opener following a road contest against Baylor on September 23. OU has a bye week between the two games.
