Oklahoma Sooners Football: OU releases hype video on eve of season opener

The Oklahoma Sooners will be on the field in a matter of hours, and that fact alone has all of us pretty excited. However, this video released by Lincoln Riley and OU should bring you to a fever pitch.

THIS. IS. INCREDIBLE. I don’t know about you, but I’d ready to run through a wall right now. The production quality here is nothing short of exceptional. The video and digital media folks at OU are the best in the land.

I absolutely love the fact that David Loggie is in this video (0:14 and 0:57). If you aren’t familiar with David, he’s the guy who gets the tee after kickoffs and handles the team’s laundry. He used to help out with with my seventh-grade football team way back in the day, and he’s loved by everyone who’s met him.

Speaking of videos, the team was shown tomorrow’s intro video just a little while ago. They get to do this each year because they obviously don’t get to watch it prior to the game. I’m hoping it features Barry Switzer, Bob Stoops and Lincoln Riley as opposed to just Riley. That would get folks pretty juiced.
