College football arrives Saturday when Oregon State takes on Colorado State in Fort Collins, but don’t overlook what ESPN has planned for the high school game. ESPN will broadcast four games featuring high school powerhouses, and toe games in particular are relevant to the Oklahoma Sooners.
At 11 a.m. CT, Oklahoma giants Tulsa Union will play at Broken Arrow. Union of course has a pair of OU commits on its roster in Patrick Fields and Jordan Kelly. The game also features highly-touted Union WR CJ Moore, who is committed to Oklahoma State.
Later that evening, IMG Academy will play a game at Chandler (Ariz.). IMG features four-star Oklahoma running back commit TJ Pledger as well as OU offensive line target Reuben Unije.
This Saturday provides a great opportunity for Oklahoma fans to see how their favorite school’s commits fare against elite high school competition. Here’s how you can catch the action:

The Players to Watch
Patrick Fields - The Union safety has been the most vocal of Oklahoma’s 2018 commits and has played an instrumental role in getting other recruits on board. Fields is a three-star prospect and is the No. 49 safety in the 247Composite Rankings.
Jordan Kelley - The 6’3”, 293-pound defensive tackle chose the Sooners over Arkansas, Oklahoma State and TCU back in March. Kelly is a three-star prospect and is the No. 41 defensive tackle in the 247Composite Rankings.
TJ Pledger - Pledger transferred from Chaminade (Calif.) HS to IMG during the offseason and will be one of the best players at a program that produces talent like none other. The four-star recruit is the No. 52 overall player and No. 3 all-purpose back in the country according to the 247Composite Rankings.
Reuben Unije - The Sooners are in hot pursuit of Pledger’s teammate, and there’s reason to believe he could eventually pick OU. OU already has two highly-touted offensive tackles in the class, but Unije could play multiple positions and would definitely be a take for OU. The four-star prospect (who is originally from John’s Creek, Ga.) is the No. 16 offensive tackle in the nation according to 247Composite rankings.
Noah Cain - Pledgers backfield companion is the No. 1 running back in the class of 2019, and the Sooners are right in the thick of things early on. The ChampU BBQ attendee also has offers from Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M.
