Oklahoma Sooners redshirt junior OT Orlando Brown has made the AP’s pre-season All America team!
An anchor for the line, Brown started every game last season at left tackle for the Sooners and earned second-team All-America honors from the AP and Football Writers Association of America. On top of that, Brown became the first sophomore to be named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year as he provided Baker Mayfield stellar protection along with the rest of the offensive line.
Brown has also been named to preseason watch lists for the Maxwell Award, given to the college football player of the year, which was last won by a Sooner in 2004 (Jason White). Brown has also received a nomination for the Outland Trophy which is awarded to the country's top interior lineman, which was last won by a Sooner in 2004 aswell (Jammal Brown). He was also one of five Sooners named to the first team of the Preseason All-Big 12 Football Team.
