The future was the theme of the day for the Oklahoma Sooners, as 2020 RB Jase McClellan announced his commitment to OU on Saturday. McClellan was the second ChampU BBQ attendee to commit to the Sooners, joining high school teammate and 2019 WR prospect Jeffery Carter.
After a great day in Norman, I would like to announce that I have committed to The University of Oklahoma!!! #OUDNA #Sooner20 ⭕️⚪️‼️ pic.twitter.com/5I3s77OiwN

Although it’s obviously very early in the game, McClellan is considered to be one of the top running backs in the 2020 class and was named a Freshman All-American by MaxPreps after last season. So why is he such a household name before entering the 10th grade? Well, simply put, it’s because of his speed. Check out his highlights from 2016 at Aledo High School.
