Four-star athlete and OU wide receiver target Jaquayln Crawford annouced his top schools and commitment date on Thursday evening. The Rockdale, Texas, product will choose between the Oklahoma Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies on Monday, July 17.

Fortunately, the Sooners are considered to be the favorite to last the quick receiver on Monday. If he does indeed commit, he’ll be the fourth (and possibly final) WR commit of the 2018 class, joining Kundarrius Taylor, Treveon Johnson and Jaylen Robinson. Crawford is listed as the No. 5 athlete in the 247 Composite Rankings.

While he is projected to be a receiver at Oklahoma, there’s a reason he’s listed as an athlete by recruiting services. Crawford is an outstanding defensive back who could potentially be asked to make a switch if need be. I’d love to see the guy utilized in Lincoln Riley’s offense, but I think he’d also make a great corner or safety at the next level.

Anyway, he’s been on OU’s radar for a long time, and I’d be surprised if he picks anyone else at this point.

Check out his highlights from his junior season:
