The Southlake Carroll product, who also planned to play baseball in college before deciding to focus solely on football, came to OU as a three-star prospect in 2016 after originally being committed to Mississippi State. Unfortunately, Farrar never saw the field in either sport while in Norman. The 6-3, 209-pound receiver would’ve had trouble cracking Oklahoma’s rotation (which features plenty of young and talented players) in the near future, so his choice is certainly easy to understand.
Farrar definitely has some upside, so I don’t think it’ll be terribly difficult for him to find a landing spot. We certainly wish him the best of luck in the future.
