Isaiah Thomas is officially a Sooner!
Thomas had narrowed his top 5 schools to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Missouri, and Alabama before committing to OU on May 28, 2016.

Thomas is listed as a DE/OLB, and he’s one of the best pass-rushers in the country. The four-star recruit was one of the commits to represent OU in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. 247Sports has him as the 287th player in the class of 2017, and the Oklahoma native is also listed by Rivals as the 13th best player at his position.
Where he fits
Sooner fans might have noticed that OU lacked a solid pass rush at times last year, and the staff is hoping Thomas can be a big contributor in that department in the future.
