Oklahoma Sooners holder Connor McGinnis has won the Mortell Holder of the Year (HOTY) Award. The Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City) product won a fan vote conducted on Twitter.

Winner announced December 7th!
His kicker, Austin Seibert, has had a fantastic season as a placekicker. Anyone who has seen Ace Ventura: Pet Detective knows that it all starts with the hold, so McGinnis has played a huge role in Oklahoma’s success this season. Seibert hit all 75 of his PAT attempts this season and made 15 of 18 field goal attempts.
Connor’s kept the laces out for Austin all season!
