Moore, who played his high school ball in Oklahoma City (John Marshall HS), originally signed with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in February of 2016. However, Moore experienced some academic issues and was forced to take the JUCO route, landing at Independence CC in Kansas. Originally rated as a four-star recruit coming out of high school, he’s continued to show off his skill set and is currently rated as the No. 1 JUCO OT by 247Sports. Despite being listed as an OT by recruiting services, Moore projects as a likely offensive guard at Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State folks were confident that Moore would eventually end up where he originally signed, but that all changed when the Oklahoma staff swooped in with a scholarship offer back in June. It would only take him a few hours to make up his mind after that.
Fans of the popular Netflix series Last Chance U should be especially excited for the upcoming season, as the show’s crew was at Independence all season to document Tramonda and his teammates.
