The Oklahoma Sooners just missed out on the top 25 of the AP Poll this week, but OU was able to claim the No. 24 spot in the Coaches Poll this week following a victory over then-No. 25 USC last Friday.

After the Kansas Jayhawks dropped a pair of games last week, the Big 12 is without a team in the top 10 of either poll. However, the conference does have five teams in each of the polls this week.
Oklahoma’s opponent this weekend, the Wichita State Shockers, are up to No. 3 in both polls. The Sooners play WSU at 3 p.m. Saturday, and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
