The Oklahoma Sooners opened as seven-point favorites over the TCU Horned Frogs, Vegas Insider revealed Sunday afternoon. That line moved around a bit before moving back to seven points as of 6 p.m. ET.
This isn’t terribly surprising from Vegas considering that OU is playing at home, but this one has all the makings of a one-score game. TCU’s defense is the real deal and may actually have some success against the best offense in the country. Needless, to say, it’s going to be interesting.
Aside from this season’s circumstances, TCU has pretty much always been competitive against Oklahoma. In fact, every single OU-TCU game since 2012 has been decided by seven points of less. An argument can be made for Gary Patterson as the best coach in the Big 12, and his teams are always prepared for Oklahoma.
