The Jayhawks backed up this tough talk by scoring a whopping 3 points. The situation at the coin toss was a bit of foreshadowing as Baker was virtually untouchable in the Oklahoma Sooners 41-3 win. Well, except for this play.

Mayfield finished with 257 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. He spent the majority of the 4th quarter on the sidelines as sophomore Kyler Murray got some reps and posted 88 yards of total offense.
Baker’s favorite targets through the air were his tight ends. Mark Andrews and Grant Calcaterra combined for 8 catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.
OU looked solid defensively for the second week in a row, as KU did not gain a first down on any of its final six drives of the game.
The Sooners host the West Virginia Mountaineers in Norman next weekend before what will likely be a rematch with TCU in the Big 12 Championship Game.
