Oklahoma only has four true road games in 2018, and only one of those (Iowa State) takes place in the first half of the season. One of the most notable takeaways from this is that OU will be playing a rare Friday game the day after Thanksgiving as opposed to a typical (at least for OU) Saturday-after-Thanksgiving matchup. This season also marks the first time since 2010 that Oklahoma will play Texas on the first Saturday in October as opposed to the second. Additionally, OU gets a bye week after OU-Texas weekend, which is kind of nice, isn’t it?
