The Oklahoma Sooners head to The Little Apple in Week 8 for a date against K-State. I suppose with the proverbial shock upset having already taken place, along with a narrow defeat of a slightly below-average Texas team, OU should take care of business on Saturday in Manhattan.
I’m not sure what to expect this afternoon, but the playing style and the discipline usually exemplified by Bill Snyder’s teams could keep things interesting for awhile. Ultimately, the Sooners should win another conference game behind their electric offense, which I can see getting back on track against the Wildcats.
With the quarterback situation in the air, Kansas State could utilize some surprise elements and ball control to stifle Oklahoma. But I feel OU comes in with renewed focus and returns to Norman with a 38-20 victory in hand.
