The Sooners received some good news on Friday morning, as Ardmore (Okla.) defensive lineman Tyreece Lott announced his commitment to Oklahoma.
Glad to say I am now committed to OU!!! pic.twitter.com/1ByVKj1I3s

This news was somewhat expected, especially when considering the fact that Lott decommitted from TCU just days after his recent visit to Norman. Nevertheless, the Oklahoma coaches have to be happy to win this recruiting battle. Lott is a versatile defender who can potentially be used in multiple ways along the defensive line.
In other recruiting news, it looks as if Texas DE commit Taquon Graham’s plans have changed.
Was just told #Texas DE commit Taquon Graham has cancelled his #OU official visit that was this weekend. Good news for the Longhorns.

The Sooners still have other targets along the defensive line, including Corey Bethley and Joshua Rogers, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of the two sign with OU next Wednesday. Oklahoma is also still a candidate to land Marvin Wilson. One can dream, right?
