Oklahoma Sooners Football Recruiting: Tre Norwood Commits to Oklahoma

Oklahoma received some good news on Monday evening, as Fort Smith, Ark. (Northside HS) cornerback Tre Norwood announced his commitment to the Sooners!

Norwood officially visited Notre Dame last weekend, and the Irish were seen as Oklahoma’s primary competition in this race. However, the multitalented Norwood has chosen to stay closer to home. And while Norwood isn’t really a high-profile prospect, Oklahoma fans should be excited about this decision all the same. The kid is still a little raw in his coverage skills, but he clearly has the speed and athleticism to turn into a quality player down the road.
