After taking a final back in 2013, I was still a little high-strung and couldn’t sit still. I had to do something with my time between two cleaning sessions at my apartment, so I made a conference realignment map based solely on geography, rivalries and fun. Last week, I found it on my laptop, and I’ve decided to share it with the world.
A few notes:
- Protected rivalries are marked in parenthesis.
- Wake Forest is shit out of luck.
- Yes, I know Tallahassee is west of Clemson and Athens, but I’m keeping the Florida schools in one division.
- The Great Plains Conference would be hella weak.
- The Big 12 would be the most fun conference, as was intended.
- Notre Dame and BYU can keep being independent. I’m totally cool with that.
