The Sooners—who will somehow have to find a way to replace Buddy Hield’s production—open up conference play at the Lloyd Noble Center against Baylor on December 30th.
A little over a week later, on January 10th, they’ll square up against the Kansas Jayhawks in a primetime matchup.
Every OU Big 12 game is slated to be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPNEWS.
The going will be relatively easy early on, as most of their tough matches in the first half of the season are at the LNC. However, their schedule is a bit back-heavy, with tough February road games against Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Kansas.
The Sooners are also slated to play in the Puerto Rico Classic, starting November 17th. This is the third straight year for the Sooners to play in a tournament outside of the continental United States.
The Sooners begin their season in an exhibition game against Washburn on November 8th, and officially commence their season against Northwestern State in Norman on November 13th.
