The expectations for redshirt sophomore receiver Mark Andrews are pretty high going into this fall. The 6-5/250 Scottsdale, Arizona native only has one career start to his name as a member of Oklahoma's football team but that is expected to change on September 3rd.
Last season Andrews played in all thirteen games for Oklahoma his lone start coming in Waco, Texas against the Baylor Bears. As a part of OU's receiving/tight end rotation Andrews caught 19 passes for 318 yards. He scored seven times in 2015 and had a season and career long 61-yard reception against Tulsa, in front of the home crowd in Norman.
One of Andrews' most productive day as a Sooner came in Lawrence, against the Kansas Jayhawks, where he hauled in a career-high five passes for a total for 46 yards.
Following the 2015 season Andrews was named First Team All-Big 12 by the AP and was second team by the coaches.
