2016 Oklahoma Sooners Football Countdown To Kickoff | 49 Days!

On November 24, 2007 the Sooners hosted the Pokes in Norman on their way to a 49-17 thrashing. Sam Bradford completed 11 of his 15 passes for only 150 yards, but with 4 touchdowns, two of which were to tight end Joe John Finley. Bradford also set the record for most touchdown passes as a freshmanThe Sooners added another 317 on the ground and 3 more to thoroughly complete the Poke beatdown.

This victory earned the Sooners a spot in the Big 12 championship game, a game in which the Sooners ultimately defeated Missouri 38-17.

The  big highlight of the game came in the second quarter with a goal line stand as the Sooners stuffed the Pokes on four consecutive running plays from the one yard line. On fourth down several Sooners converged on Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson and caused a fumble which was scooped up by DJ Wolfe.
