One of the most epic games of the Bob Stoops era happened in 2012 when Oklahoma made their trip to Morgantown to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers. The Sooners won a shootout by the final score of 50-49 with Landry Jones connecting with Kenny Stills to seal the deal.
At one time in the contest Oklahoma had built a 31-17 lead but a Mountaineers comeback in the second half set the scene for high drama. Landry Jones' sixth touchdown pass of the game came at the end of a six play, 54-yard drive. West Virginia had just taken a 49-44 lead, with just under three minutes remaining in the game, but Jones connected with Stills from five yards out on a play that he had checked in to.
Stills was on the receiving end for four of Jones' six touchdown passes and ended the night with 91 receiving yards on ten receptions.
