The Sooners class of 2017 needs to continue to add talent along the offensive and defensive lines. I have full faith in Bill Bedenbaugh to not only recruit, but also develop players along the offensive line. So the question isn't so much whether the Sooners offensive line will be good year in and year out, as much as who will be next to step up and continue to be the next man up so to speak. So here is where things stand as we move forward through the summer and stare down the start of the 2016 season.

COMMITS - 1

4-Star Tyrese Robinson 6-5/300 from McKinney, TX

Tyrese is the offensive line anchor for this class. While he will likely wind up at offensive guard, but has the ability to make an impact RT. Robison is an incredible start to class of 2017.

PROSPECTS (This list will be looking at the players that the Sooners have a legitimate chance at).

4-Star OL Adrian Ealy 6-7/280 from Gonzales, LA

Even though Ealy is from Louisiana, the Sooners have an incredible shot at landing Ealy. A huge official visit will go a long ways, but Ealy and the Sooners are a very realistic option.

3-Star OL Xavier Newman 6-4/285 from Desoto, TX (Texas Commit)

If you were wondering about Newman's interest in OU, in spite of his current Texas verbal commitment, look no further than the quote above.

4-Star OL Marquis Hayes 6-5/315 from Maryland Heights, MO

Hayes doesn't yet have a Sooner offer, but he is actually in Norman as this article is being written. Hayes' recruitment is taking off as of late. I believe with an offer the Sooners would be really hard to beat.

As of now I believe that all of the players listed above will be Sooners on national signing day.
